GLA is proud to be one of 6 area schools included in the Evansville Promise Neighborhood. What is the Evansville Promise Neighborhood? The University of Evansville (UE), in coordination with Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation (EVSC) and local community organizations, received a grant from the US Department of Education to create the Evansville Promise Neighborhood (EPN). The EPN partners (see below) will work with UE and EVSC to assist children, adults, and families living in the neighborhood and/or attending GLA or one of the other 5 EPN schools. The EPN strives to help participants have access to great schools and strong systems of family and community support, while preparing them to attain an excellent education and successfully transition to college and careers.
